Mary Maude Spicer

A Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Parkhill Cemetery’s Veterans section at 2:00 pm with Chaplin Mike Stiggers officiating. Family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

Mary Maude Smith Spicer was born on June 3, 1939 in Buckhorn, Kentucky to the late Elva Baker Smith and Bradley Smith. She was married to the late Herman Spicer. Mary was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary is preceded in death, other than her parents and husband, by her son, Jeff Spicer.

Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Dobbs and her husband David; sons, Darrel Spicer and Mark Spicer and his wife Joanne; grandsons, Kendell Brinson, Hunter Spicer, Hayden Spicer; step-granddaughters, Alexandra Dobbs and Makenzie Dobbs, she also is survived by several brothers and sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The Spicer family would like to offer their gratitude to St. Francis Hospital and Serenity Hospice for the care given to Mary M. Spicer while under their care.
