Mary Ben Lloyd

Mary Ben Roulan Lloyd, age 82, resident of Columbus, died on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Northside Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled at Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, 2 p.m. with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 4-6 p.m.

Mrs. Lloyd, daughter of the late Ben Columbus Roulan and Mary Iula Kee Roulan, was born March 26, 1933 in Grantville, Georgia. She was retired as a Registered Nurse, where she worked faithfully for Dr. Frank Schley, Jr. and Pediatric After Hours.

Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eugene Lloyd and a brother, Alver Roulan. She is survived by four children, Eloise Lloyd Black and her husband Danny of Macon, Georgia, Sunday Lou Lloyd of Columbus, Raymond Eugene Lloyd II of Salem, Alabama, and Ben R. Lloyd of Valley, Alabama; four grandchildren, Lori Black McKinnon and her husband Kevin of Forsythe, Georgia, Amy Lloyd Clement and her husband Michael of Salem, Alabama, Stacey Lloyd of Mobile, Alabama, and Ramey Lloyd of Valley, Alabama; three great-grandchildren, Madison McKinnon, Taylor McKinnon, and Scarlet Clement; many other relatives and friends.
