Mary Eugenia Bowman

Mary Bowman, 94, of Columbus entered her heavenly home on January 22, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, 4500 St. Mary’s Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 3:00 pm.

Mary was born on September 21, 1929 to the late Irene and Clarence Finley. After grade school, she married the love of her life, Robert L. Bowman. Robert and Mary remained faithfully married for 48 years. Mary loved playing Bingo, reading books, and spending time with her family. She especially loved getting on the floor and playing with her 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching western movies - Audie Murphy and John Wayne were her favorites. She loved going to Panama City Beach and playing in the gulf. She loved her Nutter-Butter cookies and Reese’s Cups. Mary just loved life and having fun with her family. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
