She was born on December 19, 1987 in San Diego, CA. Markita later graduated from Floyd County High School. She married her husband on July 24, 2020. Markita pursued a career as a Medical Office Admin and loved watching Disney movies, cooking, being with her kids, animals, and the beach, especially dolphins and mermaids
She is survived by her husband; Alexis Morales, her son; Conan Morales, her daughter; Nala Morales, her mother; Karen Hodge, her sister; Monica Hodge, and niece; Madison Hodge.
There will be a celebration of Markita’s life on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 2:00 pm. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in Columbus, GA.
