He was born and raised in Hawaii, Mark loved Hawaii, it was always home. He was married to Tina M. Cockrell for 32 years. Together they have called Columbus, Georgia home since the 1990’s. Mark was a family man, he held his family close and loved large. He was a people person, Mark never met a stranger. If you didn’t know Mark upon greeting him, maybe at the store, at the flea market, which by the way was one of his favorite places to go, or on a plane, or at a traffic light. He was loved by all, and all loved him!
Mark being from Hawaii was an avid University of Hawaii fan. When he moved to the mainland, he became a Green Bay Packers fan as well. When Mark wasn’t working or spending time with family and friends he was on the search for his next project. Mark enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales. He was a Flea Market Find Flipper. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him and especially loved him. A Hui Hou!
Mark leaves his loving memory to be cherished by his loving wife, Tina M. Hicks; his son Kyle S. Hicks; his beloved granddaughter Amaya F. Hicks; his brother, Jeffrey W. Hicks; and numerous other family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Allison M. Hicks and his mom Joy
