Marion was born in Atlanta, GA. and relocated with her children to Columbus in the late 1960s. She was a treasured military wife of 50 years, mother, "Grandma", "MoMo" and friend. Marion was a fierce cancer warrior with several battles conquered throughout her lifetime. The proud wife of an Army Ranger; she enjoyed traveling the world, golfing, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her son; Vernon "Rocky" Miller and survived by her husband; CSM Jim Fowler, U.S. Army (Ret.), daughters; Sandi Mack Sands (John "Sandy"), Connie Wisener (Jeff), grandchildren; Heather Simpson, Daniel "Steve" Jones (Christy), Brandon Mack (Nikki), Jordan Mack (Cassie), great- grandchildren; Ben Simpson, Courtney Simpson (Jonathan), Isaac Simpson, Corbin Simpson, Austin Jones, Emily Jones, Beau Mack, and great-great grandchild; Jack Simpson.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary and graveside services at 3:00 p.m. in Parkhill Cemetery.
