Margaret "Ann" Cannon

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, GA with Reverend Scott Tucker officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Cannon was born in Omega, GA. on February 15, 1934 to the late William Hoyt Vance, Sr. and Lucille Moore Vance. She has lived in Columbus since 1973 and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist. Mrs. Cannon retired from Civil Service after 29 ½ years of service. Her husband Robert Frederick Cannon, Sr. preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters; Joy C. Jackson (Robert) of Fortson, GA., and Lee Strickland (Terry) of Pine Mountain, GA.; two sons, Robert F. Cannon, Jr. (Margie) of Warner Robins, GA, and Mike A. Cannon (Tammy) of Griffin, GA.; She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
