Louise B. Carver Bowman

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus.

Louise B. Bowman was born on June 12, 1926 in Alabama; she has lived in Columbus most of her life where she and her late husband Robert Carver owned and operated a grocery store. Ms. Louise was a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church. She loved to fish, play cards, shop and was an outgoing, fun-spirited spunky lady who would speak her mind. Ms. Louise will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved her.

Survivors include her son, Dana Lee (Jenny) Carver; daughters, Peggy Louise (Dean) Sharts and Penny L. Davidson; grandchildren: Leslie Susan Watson, “Robbie” Robert Douglas (Kelli) Watson, Brittany Carver Marshall, Andrew Shane Carver, April Penelope (Mike) Barrington, and Amber Paige Davidson; seven great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
