Linda Judeene Skinner passed away on September 12, 2023 in Macon, Georgia at the age of 87. She was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Wionea Alexander Skinner and S.L. Skinner on June 27, 1936. Linda was their precious angel, she loved her family and they adored her. She was Christian by faith and attended Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus with her parents. When she moved to Macon, Georgia to be in the care of her brother, Richard and Faye she attended First Assembly of God in Macon. Linda loved to watch the Atlanta Braves with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wionea and S.L. Skinner and her sister Rhetha Williams. Linda is survived by her brothers: Richard (Faye) Skinner of Macon, Georgia and Jerry Skinner of Centerville, Georgia; her sister Ann Turner of Centerville, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda’s family will visit with family and friends on Friday September 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia 31907. A procession will follow the visitation into Parkhill Cemetery for a graveside service at 3:00 PM.
