Lawrence "Larry" William Morgan, Jr.

Lawrence “Larry” William Morgan, Jr., age 72, of Ellerslie, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, surrounded by his family. Funeral Services are scheduled to be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ellerslie, Georgia on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 11:00 am with Pastor Tommy Henschel officiating. The family will receive friends at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Ellerslie on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 am.

Mr. Morgan, son of the late Lawrence William Morgan, Sr. and Ruth Celia Morgan was born on June 12, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia. Mr. Morgan was a Deacon of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Along, with his parents, Larry is preceded in death by: his former wife of 46 years and mother of his children, Frances Anne Morgan; his brother Robert Dana Morgan, Sr. Larry served in the Georgia National Guard for seven years. He was an electrician for 35 years with Bickerstaff.

He is survived by: his wife of five years, Karen Brawn Morgan; his children, Holly Wicklund and husband, Brian, Shane Morgan and wife, Brooke and April Brown and husband, Brian, and grandchildren, Morgan Kennedy, Matthew Kennedy, Jacob Wicklund, Kayla Morgan, Krista Morgan, Daisy Brown, and Katie Brown; his wife’s son Tyler Brawn and his wife, Emily; and grandchildren, Caleb Brawn, Sam Brawn, and Ben Brawn; and extended family members and numerous friends.
