Lauren, 
Miss you so much! I accepted that I will never have a friendship like ours. You were like part of my family, a sister, the BEST and loyal friend! There are so many moments I wish you were just a phone call away. To be honest, I think about you all of the time. My heart just knows you are looking down on all of us and sometimes even laughing along with experiencing many proud moments looking down.  I pray you are getting my messages when I write them down and send them up to you with the  lanterns I've lit up and sent up your way. That became a regular tradition for me and mine. After Sawyer was explained what I was using it for, he started using it for other little wishes, prayers, etc. It's the sweetest thing and also a way to let emotions go. I'm rambling now, as always. LOL ANY who... I LOVE YOU Lauren! You are missed! I can't wait to meet and catch up again. We will have so much to laugh and talk about. Keep looking out for us down here. Mommy I think about you every day I miss you so much. me, Bailee, and Bryan all have good grades daddy met this amazing women that’s helping rake care of us. We have a little sister now her name is willow I just wish you were here to see her. I love you and one day I’ll get to see you again and we might get to see grandpa again soon. Still thinking about you... Your huge heart was so full of love. It is truly missed. So many days I think to myself, "If only I would have known that would have been the last time I heard from Lauren, I would have conversed so much longer, shared some laughs, etc" 
It still blows me away! Hard to put together for me. To the family of Lauren Allen Hicks: I send my deepest condolences. Lauren was a very special person. Our friendship began in 1998 at Shaw Highschool. I am so thankful I had the honor of knowing such a beautiful soul for the last 18 years of my life. I love Lauren dearly as a friend and will miss her so much. May God wrap his arms around all of you during this time.

I've been so upset since I heard the news.  I'm upset for all of us here on earth without you.  You are so beautiful and have such beautiful babies.  Why did you have to leave so soon?  You will be missed.

I had the great pleasure of hanging out with Lauren a few times and she had a great personality and spirit. She was so much fun to be around. May she rest in peace and get family find comfort during this rough time

Lauren you were such a young pretty girl when our granddaughter Jessica brought you to meet us.  We liked you then, and your sweet children too.Our hearts are sad. You will always be remembered.

Lauren was such a beautiful, smart young woman. My heart breaks for her precious children and family. It was so touching that her last two posts on facebook were about her trust in the LORD. She loved her children so very much and I know they loved her. Rest In Peace Lauren.
