Larry Gene Workman Jr.

Larry Gene Workman, Jr. 43 of Columbus, GA, passed away at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA, October 25, 2022 after a long illness. A graveside service is planned for October 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm. in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, Georgia. Following the service the family will meet with friends at Calvary Baptist Church, 7556 Old Moon Rd. Columbus.

Larry was born in Columbus, Georgia to Larry Gene Workman, Sr. and Barbara Doyal Miller. He continued to live in Columbus where he raised his family. When Larry was able he attended Calvary Baptist Church. He loved his family and enjoyed being with them. Larry was a very successful Texas Holdum player and could play many instruments, and he was the lead singer in his band.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Larry Workman, Sr., sister Candida Scott; and grandmother, Bobbie Walker.

He is survived by his life partner Crystal Roy; mother Barbara Miller; step father, Rodger Miller; sister, Deborah Smith; five sons, Rowen, Joshua, Nicholas, Daniel, and Patrik Workman; cousin, Michelle Workman; nieces; nephews; other family and many great friends.
