When you speak of Kim, you feel the ever presence of love. She loved everybody, period! If you met Kim, you were her friend, and she made sure that you knew that. Kim possessed many talents – she was a successful small business owner, had an incredible eye for design, and could write the most eloquent devotionals. Kim was deeply grounded in her faith in God and would pray daily for those she knew.
Kim and her husband, Terry, met in California and worked all over the western United States before settling in Columbus. She had an adventurous heart and loved to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and felt most at-peace when she was out enjoying nature. Kim’s daughter, Lauren, was the light of her life, and they enjoyed many trips and many laughs together.
Kimberley was preceded in death by her mother, Elinor Yvonne Braden, and a sister, Kristine Lynn Bokina.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Terry Dean Becker; her daughter, Lauren Rae Becker; and one sister, Clydia Jean Young.
A reception to honor Kimberley's life will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Anyone who knew her understood her love of flowers, so to honor that love please bring some stems or a small bouquet.
