Katie P. Jones

Katie P. Jones, 93, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, June 18 2017 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Elder Mark McCollum and Ralph Wooten officiating

Mrs. Jones, daughter of the late Henry and Mamie Ethridge, was born in Chipley, Florida on July 22, 1923. She was married to the love of her life the late William W. Jones for seventy three years. Some of her interests were attending Columbus 7th Day Adventist church and being involved in any church activity that was available.

Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Henninger; grandchildren Richard Alan (Robin) Bushman and Nancee “Cricket” Bushman; great grandchildren, Jay Mcknight; sister, Sarah N. Pope (Earle), and serveral nieces, nephews and cousins
