Judith B. Reams passed away on February 17, 2017 after a long illness. She was born and raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Judy was the daughter of the late Dr. Robert C. Bastian and Margaret Collins Bastian.
Judy graduated from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia and taught elementary school in Troup County, Georgia for many years.
Other than her parents, she was also predeceased by her two sons, Phillip M. Reams and Kirk C. Reams; brother, Dr. Robert C. Bastian, Jr. Judy is survived by her sister, Katherine “Sue” B. (Paul) Haefner, and several nephew, nieces, and great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. A graveside funeral service will be on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Shadowlawn Cemetery, LaGrange, GA. Online condolences can be offered to the family at www.shcolumbus.com
