John Allen Bishop

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. with interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery.

John was born February 21, 1972 in Atlanta, GA. to the late Jimmy and Ruth Pittman, he was raised by his late grandparents, John Clifford Bishop and Alice Allred Bishop. He was always up for family gatherings and loved attending social events with his friends and family. John had much love and compassion for all kinds of animals. He was willing to help a neighbor or family member when in need. Other than his parents and grandparents John was preceded in death by, sisters, Judy Mosher, Landa Sandusky and Valerie Knoll.

Survivors include his twin brother, Jimmy Bishop (Michael) siblings, Delores Curry, Brenda Davis, Connie Bellows and Tina Hagler. John is also survived by two very special family members, Cindy Knoll and Sabrina Garcia who were a big part of his life..
