Jo Anne H. Jones

Jo Anne H. Jones, 76 of Columbus, Georgia passed away on July 2, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew and especially loved her.

Jo Anne was born on August 25, 1944 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Jeanette Clark Harbert and Colbert Harbert.

Jo Anne is preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette and Colbert Harbert, and her daughter Misty Leighann Jones.

She leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her loving husband, James E. Jones; her loving children: Wanda Eldridge, Stephanie Jones, and Chris Jones; her loving grandchildren: Joshua Jones, Erika Jones, Bailey Eldridge, and Chase Milam; her very adored and loving great grandchildren: Bella Santano, Marleigh Shirah, “Jed” Jedidiah Shirah, and Brantley McQueen.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd Columbus, Georgia. Family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in Parkhill Cemetery following the service.
