Jimmy was born in Columbus, Youngest child of Mr. Harry Harrelson and Mrs. Joan Howell Harrelson. Jimmy went to work for Columbus Gas Light Co. in 1981, and remain there through United Cities Gas Co., Atmos Energy, and Liberty Utilities until his death.
Jimmy's Life was filled with numerous hobbies including baseball, golf, RC airplanes, to buying and flying his on plane. But one hobby that stuck with him until his death was yardwork, from mowing grass, to planting tomatoes, even though he dare not eat one.
Jimmy is preceded in death by both his parents, a sister Jody Sue Massey, and a brother Billy Cain Harrelson.
Jimmy is survived by his girlfriend Jewel Chambley, his son Dustin Harrelson (Heather) and his daughter Courtney Harrelson. Jimmy also leaves behind a brother Michael Anthony Harrelson (Debbie); He is also survived by his grandchildren Kadence Harrelson, Emily Raines, and Gunner Harrelson.
