A graveside service to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery with Brother David Spiece officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
Jerry was born January 22, 1948 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Raymond and Rena Forehand Lee. He graduated from Jordan High School and attended Columbus State College. Jerry owned and operated Team Office Supplies from 1986 until his retirement in 2019. He was a gifted salesman and an avid salt water fisherman. Jerry never met a stranger and treasured spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Lee.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Diane Jones Lee; one daughter, Cindy Lee Marsh and her husband, Tommy; one son, Randy Lee; three grandchildren, Matt Marsh, Sophie Marsh, and Austin Lee; two brothers, Tommy Lee and David Alexander; two sisters, Shirlene Dickerson (Bob) and Donna Hodgkin (Alan); sister-in-law, Connie J. Meadors (Bob), and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
