Jerry T. Grantham

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Gene Boyd officiating in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby. Family will visit with friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted and if one wishes memorial donations can be made to Cascade Hills Church or to Gentiva Hospice, 100 Brookstone Centre Prkwy, Columbus, GA 31904.

Jerry Tom Grantham was born on February 17, 1944 in Tampa, Florida to the late Johnnie Tidwell Grantham and James Clyde Grantham. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and faithfully served his country during the Vietnam Era. Jerry enjoyed spending time outdoors, being a member of the Lanahassee Sportsman Club, he also was a faithful member of Cascade Hills Church where he served as an usher and was a founding member of the Funeral Greeters with Cascade Hills. Not only did he enjoy the great outdoors, he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all.

He leaves his legacy to his loving wife, Ann Crutchfield Grantham; daughter, Kim East and her husband, Jeff; granddaughters, Taylor Ann Howard and her husband, Zach and Tanner East; great grandsons Asher Ray Howard and Bowen Rex Howard; his brothers: James (Wendy) Grantham, Rocky (Nancy) Grantham and Johnny Grantham; his sister, Nancy (Wayne) Hendon; sixteen nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
