Jennifer Kilgore Bray White, 55, of Valley, Alabama, passed away in her home Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Jen’s family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, Georgia, from 5-7 PM. The family will also hold a memorial to celebrate Jen’s life on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 7 PM also at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Dr. Richard Gardner officiating.
Jen was born September 10, 1962, in Columbus, Georgia to Diane Pratt McFerrin and the late J.L. Kilgore. The class of 1980 honor graduate from Kendrick High School, will forever be known for her outgoing spirit and overwhelming intelligence. Whether it be the beach, mountains, or Disney world, you would find Jen out in the sun exploring the world with a fresh cup of Starbucks coffee and her favorite shoes. Anywhere Jen went she met a friend and would be found laughing and cutting up being the life of the party; she was everyone’s cheerleader, especially when her mother was going through cancer. She was everyone’s rock and “go-to”. A loving mother of three, Jen became a second mother to many children in her life and will forever have her memory cherished
Aside from her father, Jen is preceded in death by her grandparents, Danny Pratt and Vivian Inez Pratt.
Jen is survived by her husband, Christopher Watson; her mother, Diane McFerrin; her Aunt Trudy Nau; her children, Onie Diane Bray, Jessica McKenzie (Brendon) O’Keeffe, Ethan Edward McKenzie; her sister Linda (David) Burge; her brothers, Jeffery Lance (Victoria) Kilgore and Jason Daniel Kilgore; her nieces and nephews:Amber (James Dixon) Bingham, Freddie Bingham, Savannah Bingham, Jason Daniel Kilgore, Jr., Kendal Kilgore, and Rebeccah Fran Kilgore; her very special friend and forever puppy, Monk--Monk; and many other family and friends who will miss her terribly.
