Jeffrey Baxter Patterson, age 41, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Friday May 10, 2019. A visitation of family & friends for Jeffrey will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 10:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071, Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Jeffrey was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on July 26, 1977; the son of Sandra Elizabeth Baxter Patterson and James Earl Patterson, Jr. In 1987, he and his family returned to their former home of Columbus, GA. While attending middle school here in Columbus, he met Brandi Marie Averitt. They were married in February of 1995; they have two daughters, Haley and Jennifer, and two grandchildren, Haven and Anais. Above all, what Jeffrey loved most was his family and friends.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents: James Earl Patterson Sr. and Helen Powers Patterson; Reuben Carlton Baxter and Grace Valoree Watson Baxter.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Brandi Marie Averitt Patterson; daughters, Haley Nicole Patterson Moore and Jennifer Brooke Patterson; father, James Earl Patterson, Jr. and mother, Sandra Elizabeth Baxter Patterson; brothers, James Carlton Patterson and Jonathan Earl Patterson; and sister, Mynon Helen Patterson Millwood.
