James Snider

James “Doc” Gerald Snider, 71, of Columbus, died on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House. Funeral Services are scheduled on Saturday, November 25, 2017, 2:00pm, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with burial to follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Snider, son of the late Sam and Ruby Calhoun Snider, was born May 4, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a Carpenter and retired from Columbus Cabinet Company.

Other than his parents, Mr. Snider was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Edge; and brothers, Buck Snider and Jim Snider.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila; daughters, Sandra Anthony (Jeff), Wanda Moore (Tony); grandchildren, Tabitha, Maegan,Lacey, Chelsie, Brannon; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Nathan, Sophia, and Colton.
