James "Bud" Hart, Jr.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hart and his parents, Jim Hart, Sr. and Dora Cartwright Hart. He served his Country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Hart was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and was retired from Muscogee County School District as an Electrical Leaderman after 25 years of service.

Survivors include his children, Constance Graham of Missouri, David "Sparky"(Donna) Hart of Columbus, Diane (Kenneth) Griffin of Phenix City, Diane (Larry) Ard of Huntsville, James "Rusty"(Nancy) Hart of Phenix City and Joseph (Eva) Hart of Hamilton; 16 grandchildren 30 great- grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
