Henry Lee Owens

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, on Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA. Interment will follow in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7pm, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby.

Mr. Owens was born July 9, 1947 to the late Buddy and Beatrice Owens. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, David Owens. Mr. Owens served his Country in the United States Army, retiring as a Staff Sergeant.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Dee Owens, five children: Billy Cobb, Jr., Kenneth Cobb, Jeff Owens, Brian Owens, and Missy Owens, two brothers: Dale Easterwood, and Roy Easterwood, two sisters: Barbara Brown, and Faye Bradford, ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
