Hazel Lee (Dabbs), (Davis), Randall, age 88 passed away on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 in Loveland, CO of Alzheimer’s. She was born August 12th, 1934 in Roanoke, Alabama, the daughter of the late Reuben and Irene (Thomas) Dabbs.
She is survived by her son Billy (Dianne) Davis of Birmingham, AL, her daughter Jacquelyn (Gregory) Lensie of Loveland, CO; a brother James (Mary) Dabbs, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Faye Dabbs, and Barbara Ann Dabbs, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rayford Dabbs and Hayward Dabbs, and by two husbands, Rayford Davis and Loren Randall.
Hazel and Rayford raised their family in Manchester, GA where she worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Postmaster of the Woodland, GA post office. She completed her postal career in Columbus, GA where she also married her second husband Loren. She was a devout Christian and was always active in local Baptist churches where she lived.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 at 2:00PM. Rev. Earl W. Ransom will be officiating service. Family will visit with friends on Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00PM. Burial will take place in Parkhill Cemetery privately with her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
