Gloria June Shephard

She was born on June 2, 1937 in Haskell, Texas. Gloria had lived in Texas most of her life before coming to Georgia to be with her daughter June and her family. Gloria was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to crochet, play bingo and dominos. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and cooking all the trimings for family.

She is survived by brothers: Lew Grothe (Judy), Charles Pitman (Jackie), Rocky Cowley; sister Pauline Slade; children: Jack Shephard (Carol), Melvia Garlington (Gerald), James Shephard (Diana), June Duke (Bobby), Gloria Young (Austin), Jim Grothe (Sharon), and Rick Shephard (Ruby); grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Family will visit with friends on Tuesday November 2, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Columbus, Georgia.
