Glenn Francis Kennedy Jr., age 74, of Lumpkin, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. Glenn was born in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Mary LaFauchi Kennedy and Glenn Francis Kennedy, Sr. Glenn was married to Dorothy M. Cloutier Kennedy and together they had five sons. Glenn was a member of Holy Family Church where he served his parrish in many aspects. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years, he was a 4th Degree Sir Knight. Glenn served in the US Navy for several years. He was proud of his service for his country.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kennedy; five sons: Christopher, Kevin, Sean, Paul and Thomas; and his grandchildren.
A rosary and visitation for family and friends for Glenn will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A funeral mass will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Holy Family Church, 320 12th St, Columbus, Georgia 31901. A committal burial service will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery, 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, Georgia.
