Glenda Dell Winstead

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia. A graveside funeral service will follow the visitation in Parkhill Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Dr. Mike Stevens officiating.

She is preceded in death by her husband’s Herman C. Applewhite & Lawrence Edward Winstead, her son Timmie Joe Winstead, her mother Myrtle Ree Hill and her sister Myrtle Ree Jones.

She is survived by her loving children: Joe Winstead and his wife Tee, Danny Winstead, Herman “Wimpy” Applewhite and Kimberly Graham; She raised and adopted her grandson as her own, Bradley R. Winstead; her loving sister: Brenda R. Weekley; her very adored grandchildren: Danielle Winstead, Michael Frost, Ashleigh Frost Connell, Danny J. Winstead, Timmie J. Winstead, Myrtle L. Winstead, Michael L. Winstead, Kimberly A. Winstead, Catherine A. Applewhite, Herman C. Applewhite III, Megan E. Graham, Thomas R. Patterson, Brandon L. Graham, Bradley R. Winstead Jr., and Briana M. Winstead; and her 20 very adored great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She loved her family, loved Jesus Christ, and she will be dearly missed by all of us and forever in our hearts.
