Gladys Ruth Koons

Mrs. Koons was born April 25, 1928 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. to the late Stephen A. Siley and Lottie Knight Siley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Koons was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Paul Koons.

Survivors include three daughters; Deborah Koons-Recio and husband Joe of Ellerslie, GA, Susan Harmon and husband Keith of Bowie, MD and Judith Koons and husband Joel Smith of Temperanceville, VA; five grandchildren, Melissa Lindfors, Lauren Caiafa, Stephen Forrester, Ashley Harmon and Nicolas Harmon, six great-grandchildren and Sister-in-Law Barbara Koons.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at The Ambassadors of Christ Fellowship, Milgen Road, Columbus, GA.

Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
