Gladys Violet Davis

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Main Post Cemetery, 66 Custer Rd, Ft. Moore, GA 31905.

Gladys was born on June 7, 1931 in England to the late Daniel Bachelor and Emily Mitchell Bachelor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first. She found great happiness with her family, especially her grandchildren. Gladys was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She also enjoyed reading a good book, especially ones written by Agatha Christie, or just spending time working in her garden.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Davis. She is survived by her children, Glyn Arnold Davis of Columbus, GA and Janet Emily Anthony of Ellerslie, GA; three grandsons, William Marcus Anthony, Eric Alan Anthony, and Samuel Joseph Anthony, and one great granddaughter, Eva Alexandria Anthony.
