Gertrudis Lopez Ladriye

Gertrudis was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She was a woman of humble beginnings. A devoted woman of faith who loved the Lord Jesus Christ more than anything. Her zealous passion and commitment is the legacy that she left to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her seven children: Agueda Felicia Ladriye-Lopez Ceballos, Francisco Ernest Ladriye Lopez, Miguel Antonio Ladriye Lopez, Candida Miguelina Ladriye Lopez, Dario Antonio Ladriye Lopez, Belkys Margarita Ladriye Lopez Gammon, Ramon Antonio Ladriye Lopez.

Gertrudis was blessed with 20 grandchildren: Maribel Ceballos Bianchini, Jessenia Ceballos, Kiana Ceballos Thorne, Amaury Ernesto Ceballos, Sassha Ladriye, Vanessa Ladriye, Yasmin Ladriye Flores, Itzamary Ladriye, Melissa Ladriye Pellot, Wilfredo Serrano Jr., Jeremias Serrano, Ismael Serrano, Elizabeth Serrano Miller, Rosalie Serrano, Darimaris Ladriye, Dario Ladriye Jr., Jeanne Ladriye, Hannah Kaileen Gammon, Ramon D’Vonte Ladriye, Enrique Manuel Ladriye.

Additionally, the good Lord allowed her to see and be blessed by 32 great grandchildren: Anthony and Caleb Ceballos, Arielle and Elijah Torres, Kamyla and Gianni Rodriguez, Nyasia Plasencia, Jocelynn and Jailynn Mercedes, Marcus and Gabriel Serrano, Nathaniel Williams, Domenic, Landon and Haylee Serrano, Ariana and Annabel Serrano, Malachi, Wade and Grayson Miller, Malakai and Ka’lani Ceballos, Ayden Washington, Naomi Placid, Hero and Sevyn Ladriye, Marco and Mariela Flores, Jazlyn Pellot.

She will be greatly missed by all her family members and church friends.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Edgewood Hall, 4071 Macon Street, Columbus, GA 31907 on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 2:00PM. Pastor Jose Roas will be officiating service. Family will visit with friends an hour prior to the service. Committal Service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:00AM.
