Lynn was born in Forfar, Scotland of the United Kingdom to the late Mabel Shephard Dolan and George Thomas Dolan. She was a registered nurse/midwife traveling to Bermuda with her fellow nurses where she met the love of her life, Phillip E. “Phil” Whitehouse, at a party. Lynn and Phil were married six months later. With Phil being in the Air Force, he had the opportunity to be stationed in Europe where Lynn was able to be close to her family in Scotland. Over the course of Phil’s military career, they enjoyed traveling throughout Europe before settling back in the United States and finally making the Columbus area home. For over 20 years, Lynn worked as a RN/Midwife at Martin Army Hospital at Fort Benning, Georgia. She was Christian by faith and attended Harvest Faith Community-Church of the Nazarene in Columbus, Georgia. Lynn will be greatly missed by all who knew her and especially loved her.
Lynn leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her husband, Phil Whitehouse, her loving daughter, Nicole Whitehouse and her beloved grandson, Walker J. Greene all of Columbus, Georgia.
Lynn will laid to rest with a private ceremony at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
