Evelyn Ann Brasington Ledbetter

Born October 9, 1933 in Lee County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late James Clyde Brasington and Claude Agnes Carroll Brasington. She attended the Muscogee County schools and graduated from Baker High School. She was a member of Altman Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ledbetter married Curtis Ledbetter who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were grandchildren, Jeremy Wayne Ledbetter, Julie Renee Ledbetter, and Kevin Thomas Jones; and a son-in-law, Charles Lee Plowden Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Lynne Ledbetter, of Dallas, GA, and Joan Carol Mauldin and husband, Eric, of Pine Mountain, GA and their son, Charles Lee Plowden, III and his daughters Baylee Catherine and Harley Jewel; their daughter Katie Lynn Meredith and husband, Ian, and son Logan Phillip and daughter Allison Rose; and their daughter Emily Ann Mauldin; two sons, Carl Wayne Ledbetter and his wife Janie of Mauk, GA, and their daughter Amy Ledbetter Steele and Kenneth Todd Ledbetter and his wife, Penny, and their son, Todd Curtis Ledbetter and daughter Casey Leanne Ledbetter of Cataula, GA; two sisters, Geraldine Brasington Hall of Columbus, GA and Miriam Brasington Moffett of Maryville, TN; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
