Erika Rosa LaGrange

Erika Rosa LaGrange, age 81, resident of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House. A memorial service is scheduled in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus, on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM. After the service the family will have light refreshments with friends in the Mill Room.

Mrs. LaGrange, daughter of the late Wilhelm Joseph Mueller and Maria Katharina Reuter Mueller was born on September 9, 1934 in Borsch, Germany. She was a long time resident of Columbus. A lifetime member of the American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary, She worked at Gus’ Drive-in for 18 years and was the owner of Erika’s Alteration Shop. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Other than her parents, Mrs. LaGrange was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Raymond LaGrange; and brother, Wolfgang Mueller. She is survived by her children, Shirley Ann McKeel (Jeffery), Regina Wright (Robert), Frank LaGrange (Debbie), Maria Vargas, Katharina Senter (Stephen), Rosemary Mueller, Helen Jordan, Jochim Mueller, Harold LaGrange; brothers, Claus Mueller, Horst Mueller; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
