Emory Dean Wright

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitations will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and on Wednesday prior to the Graveside Service, from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm.

Emory was born on December 23, 1952, in Columbus, Georgia. He is the son of Alver Clyde Wright Jr. and Edna McCart. He is a lifelong resident of Columbus, having graduated from Kendrick High School in 1972. Emory had a love for life and worked as a carpenter and a mechanic through the years. There are many that benefited from his various skills.

Emory was preceded in death; by his parents and one sister, Beth Williams. Survivors include; four children, Seth Wright, Rayfe Wright, Chris Wright, Amanda Wright; a brother, A.C. Wright; a sister, Rachel Likens; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
