Emily Suzanne McDaniel, age 37, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. A Celebration of Emily's life will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
Emily was born December 29, 1982 in Columbus, Georgia to Susie and Ricky Crain. She had a happy and outgoing personality and was a free spirt. She taught others to be forgiving and have a giving heart. Emily loved helping others and spending time with her sons and her mom. She enjoyed the beach and was an avid Crimson Tide fan. She would often be heard laughing and joking with her boys. Her nickname when she was younger was "Bubbles" because of her laughter and glowing cheeks. Emily will forever be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, and friend who did things her way and lived life to the fullest.
Her father, Ricky Crain, and brother, Little Ricky Crain, preceded Emily in death. She is survived by sons, Jaxson McDaniel and Mason McDaniel; mother, Susie Talley; dad, Jim Talley; and other mother, Monika Boyd Crain; brother, Tripp Talley; brother, Brian Lambert; sister, Amy Talley Burger; and sister, Christy VanLandeghem (Josh); best friend, Michael Massey; first cousin, Amy Weaver; cousin, Brent Tyler; and cousin, Clint Weaver. Emily also had other family members and many friends to cherish her memory.
