Dorothy L. Schreiber, 94, passed away on April 3, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2013 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus. Private burial will be in Main Post Cemetery, with her husband COL (Ret.) Daniel A. Schreiber.
Mrs. Schreiber was born February 1, 1919 in Allentown, PA to the late Jacob Feather and Lillian Kern Feather. She enjoyed the military lifestyle and traveled numerous places with her husband. They were inseparable and he would go nowhere without her. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Schaffer.
Survivors include her brother, Paul Jacob Feather of Lehighton, PA and several nieces and nephews.
