Doris Mack Cunningham

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Parkhill Cemetery with Dr. Frank Parr officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday evening, September 23, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cunningham was born January 13, 1929 in Level Cross, NC, daughter of the late Guy and Bertha Mae Whittemore Jackson. Mrs. Cunningham was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. We will remember her sweet spirit daily, and her memory will live forever in our hearts.

Survivors include her loving husband, William W. “Bill” Cunningham of Columbus, GA; four children, Scott Cunningham of Dalton, GA, Rick Cunningham and his wife, Christie of Fortson, GA, Carol Northrup of Columbus, GA, and Kenny Cunningham and his wife, Kim of Columbus, GA; eight grandchildren, Brian Cunningham of Chattanooga, TN, Patrick Cunningham of Dalton, GA, Katie Northrup, Lennie Northrup, and Brooks Northrup all of Columbus, GA, Molly Northrup of Atlanta, GA, Parker Cunningham, and Jayce Cunningham both of Columbus, GA; one sister, Frances Hoover of Lexington, NC; one brother, Ronnie Jackson and his wife, Bethany of Rugby, TN.
