She loved her family beyond words. Debbie was not one for hobbies, but she took great pride in her career with ASG, as director for the Florida Watermelon Association, the Eastern Cantaloupe Association, GOWA and Alabama Onsite Wastewater Association. When Debbie was not “at the office” her time was at home in the countryside with her family to include her two horses, Bella and Zeke, her two dogs, Luke and Ruby, and her cat Theo. Debbie was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and especially loved her.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Paul D. Johnson; her daughters: Nicole Holmes (Richard Holmes) and Ashley Alexander; her son Andrew Alexander (India Nelson-Alexander); her mother Kathy Cash and her father Colon Johnson; her sisters Pam Faris and Joyce Robbins; her grandsons Noah and Owen Holmes; and a host of other family members and friends.
A memorial visitation for Debbie will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
