David Chance Darlington, 43, of Prattville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Visitation for Chance will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in the St. Elmo room. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Parkhill Cemetery.
Chance was born on October 24, 1976 to David and Joan Darlington. He graduated from Prattville High School. Chance worked as a manager at Rooms To Go in Montgomery, AL where he enjoyed meeting new people. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prattville, AL, and he had an unwavering love for his Almighty God. Chance was a one of a kind person. He never met a stranger and would light up a room with his enthusiasm. He loved his son, Bentley, and adored his niece and nephews. Chance was the biggest Georgia Bulldogs fan. He knew how to be a great friend, and when you needed someone to talk to, he was always there to listen.
Chance was preceded in death by his father, David Darlington, and his grandparents, George and Nell Barker and Bill and Christine Darlington. He is survived by his son, Bentley Darlington; mom, Joan Darlington; sister, Kelley Manning (Michael); nephews, Jackson, Eli, and Hudson Manning; niece, McKenna Manning.
