Curtis Wayne Welch, age 40, of Muscogee County passed away on March 29, 2020. Services are pending at this time.

Wayne was born in Columbus, GA, on March 15, 1980, the son of Imogene “Jean” Willis and Steve Odom. Wayne grew up in the Columbus area and attended Hardaway High School. He enjoyed working with his hands and found his career in serving our community as a plumber.

Wayne enjoyed many things in his life, but he was passionate about Auburn football, the Dallas Cowboys, and the beach. However what he truly loved was his family, especially his children and spending time with them.

Survivors include his daughter, Katelyn Frances Welch; son, Dalton Wayne Welch; his mother, Imogene F. (Jimbo) Willis; father, Steve (Debbie) Odom; father, Burrell (Angie) Welch; his brothers and sisters, Jeremy Walter Welch, Dustin Allen (Emily) Willis, Jessica Ann Welch, Jessica Odom (Kyle) Smith, Lindsay Odom (Jesse) Kelly, and Justin Odom; and numerous other family members and friends of our family that will cherish his memory
