Mr Clyde "Longboy" Waylon Gregory

Clyde Waylon “Longboy” Gregory, 74, of Columbus, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in Plains, GA. Funeral Services are scheduled on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00am in the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road Columbus. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning.

Mr. Gregory, son of the late Clyde Rufus Gregory and Martha Rebecca Burns Gregory, was born September 27, 1942 in Columbus, GA. He was the Owner of Express Body Works from 1979 retiring in 2008. Mr. Gregory was also a Mason.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers John B. Slaughter and Robert E. Slaughter.

Mr. Gregory is survived by his daughter, Beth Renee Gregory Jones (Stuart); son, Bryan Keith Gregory Sr.; grandsons, Jeremiah Jones, Joshua Jones, Justin Jones, Bryan Gregory II; great granddaughter, Riley Jones; and many friends and other relatives.
