Chong "Anna" Ak Yi, age 93, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. A visitation for family and friends for Anna will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Columbus, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. A rosary will occur Friday, December 22, 2023 at 5:00 PM, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. A mass of christian burial will occur Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1953 Torch Hill Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31903.

Anna was born in 1930 in Won Ju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; the daughter of Chun U Chong and Do He Lee.

She was admired in her community for her loving spirit and care for others. For her family, she was the cherished and respected mother and grandmother to three generations.

Anna is survived by her daughter Pok S. Meszaros and husband, Gene, daughter Ok Sun Wilkerson and husband Troy, son Peter K. Yi and wife Oh Kyung, and son Andy D. Lee and wife Mi Kyung. Her grandchildren are Kimberly Meszaros Turner and husband Patton, Sandra Meszaros Stephenson and husband Gordon, and Thomas A. Meszaros and wife Bobbie, Diana Yi, Jacqueline Yi, Alexander Lee, and Charles Lee. Great-grandchildren include Patton Turner, Elizabeth Turner, Charles Stephenson, Austin Stephenson, Ethan Stephenson, Megan Meszaros, Blake Meszaros, Lauren Meszaros, and Kara Grace Meszaros.

Anna will be laid to rest in Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907.
