Charles Edward Rooks

Charles Rooks, age 55, a resident of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his home. Mr. Rooks the son of Eugene and Vickie Rooks was born June 4, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a graduate of Carver High School and was a standout football player.

Charles went on to become an Automotive Technician and worked for Automotive Network. He enjoyed working and collecting cars, watching auto racing and even assisting some locally at places like East Alabama Motor Speedway, Charles had a group of great friends he would get together with and play poker with and just hangout.

Mr. Rooks is predeceased by his mother Vickie Rooks and a nephew Marty Gunnarsson. Survivors include his father Eugene Rooks, sister Cindy Gunnarsson (David) and numerous other loving family members.
