Chardajah Zy'Kirah Elizabeth "Lady Bug" Lee, age 17, of Augusta, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Augusta University Children's Hospital. Chardajah was born in Columbus, Georgia daughter of Latoya Stewart and Marcus Lee, Sr. She was a high school student at Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, Georgia. She had aspirations of becoming a Neonatologist to help parents with premature babies. Lady Bug was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend who will be forever in the hearts of all those she met. She loved her family wholeheartedly and enjoyed music, dancing, art, animals, and hanging with family and friends. She was best known by family and friends for her laughter and great sense of humor. Lady Bug had a personality that will be forever remembered and cherished in the hearts of everyone.
Lady Bug leaves her loving memory to be cherished by her loving mother Latoya Stewart; her father Marcus Lee, Sr.; her loving stepdads: Dale Smith and Shawn Yarborough; her loving sisters: Zira "Pumpkin" Lee and Ja' Laysia "LayLay" Lee; her loving brothers: Marcus "MJ" Lee, Jr., Jo'Von "JoJo" Lee, and Darion "Dare" Smith; her loving grandparents: Rommell Lee, Sr. and Charlie Mae Lee and grandma Peggy Sparks; her loving aunts: Reveen Stewart, Esta Plummer, Danielle Stewart, Lashonda Stewart, April (late Tyrone) Creamer, Tamica Sparks, Amira O'Neal, Jasmin O'Neal and Brittany O'Neal; her loving uncles: Jason Stewart and Rommell Lee Jr.; her loving cousins: Nayrough, Niyah, Keith, Josiah, Jillian, Aijah, Jhamond, Jhalexis, Jhamar, Ta'Keysha, Ta'Morsha, Pandora, A'Joy and Lydell; her great cousins: Channing, Zayden, Ghiana, and Amira and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Madalene "Doll" and Joseph "Joe" Plummer; her grandfather Anthony Cureton; and her grandmother Regina O'Neal.
A celebration of life service for Lady Bug will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Following her celebration of life service a repass will be held at 4:30 PM in the Conference Room of Best Western Plus, 4027 Veterans Ct., Columbus, Georgia 31909.
