Cecil Eugene Jones, age 59, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
He served proudly for 8 years in the US Marines Corps and loved his military journey, a marine all the way. A people person, he would help anyone he could. He worked as a chemical operator and roofed for over 20 years. He also loved his dogs Bella, Pumpkin and he is with sugar foot now.
Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy Jones; his step-son, Terry Gonzales; his sons, Justin Hutt and David Jones; his brothers, Allen Jones and Kenneth Jones; and his 6 grandchildren. Cecil was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo “BJ” Hookahi and his step father, David Hookahi.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the home of Terry and Tracy Gonzales, 1033 Vera Drive, Columbus, GA 31906 on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 5:00PM.
