Carol Ann Hunter, 77 of Columbus, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was born on July 18, 1945 to the late Ephraim and Dorothy Haak of Campbelltown, Pennsylvania. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jerry L. Hunter and her granddaughter Vanessa Sueneva Mosher.
Mrs. Hunter was married to her sweetheart, Jerry L. Hunter for 55 years. Together they lived in Columbus where they raised their two daughters, Pam and Jacqueline. Mrs. Hunter retired after 20 years of food service with the Muscogee County School District. She loved the Lord and the ministry of hospitality and was a member of Evangel Temple Church, Covenant Fellowship Sunday school class and Ladies Fellowship.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Edgewood Hall of Strifler-Hamby, Columbus, Georgia with Pastors Paul Thomas and Bud Rupel officiating. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00am.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by her daughters, Pam Adams, married to Paul Adams, and Jacqueline Mosher, married to James Mosher; her grandchildren Leslie Rowland, Hunter Mosher and Montana Mosher; her brothers and their families, Barry & Ruthie Haak, Glenn & Darlene Haak, and Allan and Mary Ellen Haak.
