Carlinda Jewell Carver passed away in Columbus, Georgia, at the age of 78 on May 10, 2022. Carlinda is survived by her cherished husband, Larry Carver. Carlinda was preceded in death by her father, W. R. Jewell, and her mother, Ella Jewell. Carlinda grew up in Fresno, California, where she graduated from Roosevelt High School, class of 1961. She later attended Fresno State University and received both her teaching degree in special education and her Master’s degree in teaching the severely handicapped. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cancer survivor. She was loved by many co-workers, fellow quilters, friends, family, and touched numerous lives in her time on Earth. Larry, and her family are holding a private memorial, which will be broadcast via Facebook Live, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST.
