Dr. C. Gary Taylor

Dr. C. Gary Taylor, age 61, resident of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center. Memorial services are scheduled at Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, 6959 Warm Springs Road, Midland, Georgia 31820 on Saturday, January 6, 2018, 11 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Son of Charles "Ted" Taylor and Katreen "Pete" Taylor, he was born November 24, 1956 in Columbus. Dr. Taylor had been in practice as a Chiropractor since 1985, serving many families in the Columbus area. His deepest passion was taking care of his patients. Dr. Taylor loved his family, enjoyed wood working, and karate where he obtained a black belt. He was a past member of the Wilson and Williams Masonic Lodge #351, Phenix City and a former Past Master. Dr. Taylor attended Solid Rock Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara W. Taylor of Columbus; his parents, Charles "Ted" Taylor and Katreen "Pete" Taylor of Phenix City, Alabama; one daughter, Kristin Taylor of New York, New York; one son, Jacob Taylor of Columbus; three sisters, Charmer (David) Mathis, Jackie Taylor, and Janet (Pete) Nilsen, all of Phenix City, Alabama; one brother, Keith (Dawn) Taylor of Smith Station, Alabama; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
